Dinner/business meeting at 5:30 pm followed by board meeting
Help the Elmhurst Garden Club spread mulch at the Ray Graham Association, 420 W. Madison in Elmhurst.
Bring work clothes, work gloves, and energy! Wheelbarrows are also needed.
Background:
The Elmhurst Garden Club has worked diligently over these last 10 years to be community connectors and involve as many different individuals, groups, corporations, and foundations as possible to raise well over $80,000 to completely overhaul and maintain the Ray Graham property in Elmhurst over the 10 years. They welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Lions this season to get some assistance with a couple of projects.
March with the Elmhurst Lions in the parade!
The event takes place all day on Saturday, June 7th, in the center of town. The racing encircles Elmhurst University. During the day, we need over 100 volunteers to take on 3-3.5 hour shifts, primarily to keep pedestrians safe from the fast-moving bicycle race.
