The motto of Lions Clubs International is "We Serve" and the Elmhurst Noon Lions Club has excelled in this endeavor by serving many families in need in our Community, State, and the Nation. The fundraising section of our web site gives you an overview of the events during the year that provides funds for our mission.

Our annual fundraisers include Candy Day in early October, Candy Day is the premiere fundraiser for the services & programs provided to the hearing & visually impaired in Illinois. This event alone raises over 50% of the total operating funds for the Lions of Illinois Foundation. Through these donations the to Lions of Illinois Foundation & The Elmhurst Lions are able to serve in excess of 18,000 men, women, & children each year.
In early spring our focus is also on our Sight and Sound Sweepstakes. Funds generated by the annual Lions of Illinois Foundation Sight and Sound Sweepstakes, our 2nd largest fundraiser, provides operating monies for the Lions approved programs and services of our Foundation.
For over 25 years, our annual Pizza Party held in March is a widely attended family event, and not only is a favorite in the area, but is a chance for the community, past and present, to reconnect to their Elmhurst roots for an evening of fun and fellowship.
Our Reverse Raffle held at the end of summer utilizes the proceeds to benefit the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Learning Center for Diabetes. At the Learning Center for Diabetes, they will help adults and children with diabetes live their lives to the fullest everyday.
Fall brings Halloween and our Family Fun Fest and Pumpkin Patch at the Abbey Leisure Center in late October. Pumpkin delivery was on Monday, Columbus Day - we were happy to have so many of our Leo's available to help unload 13 tons of fun!!!!
